the challenge
This project was a launch: creating a brand-new, high-energy concept from scratch in a venue I had prior experience with. The challenge was to define a unique, colourful, and charming brand rooted in maritime legends and storytelling to make the space an immediate, high-profile destination.
the solution
I designed a comprehensive brand system based on quirky, evocative nautical and surf themes. This was simultaneously applied to the physical space, which features a new blue floor, the tikibar, and surf-themed décor, ensuring the branding and the physical space blended seamlessly to create an immersive, high-energy atmosphere.
the impact
The result is a highly accessible, evocative, and fun brand that patrons have quickly fallen for, offering something truly unique in the precinct. The cohesive, colourful, and immersive identity elevates the venue's status and establishes it as a premier, story-driven destination.
